healthy eating for weight loss

You hear a lot of discussion about carbs these days, in relation to weight loss. Just what are carbs? Are they healthy? Are there 'good' carbs and 'bad' carbs? Do carbs contribute, or not, to healthy eating for weight loss?
Carbs is short for carbohydrates. A carbohydrate is a food which gives you energy and nutrition.
There are definitely 'good' carbs and 'bad' carbs. Lets look at a couple.
Sugar, which is present in chocolate, candy, lollies, biscuits, cakes, soft drinks, desserts, maybe your tea, coffee or hot chocolate too, and so forth, will all give you energy after consuming them. This energy normally drops you into a low after the high, so you are tempted to eat, or drink, more.
Sugar also creates a spike in your blood sugar, requiring more insulin production from your pancreas. When you produce too much insulin, your body is all set to put down fat storage cells. On goes the weight.
You can see how diabetes results when people eat too much sugar. They overload their pancreas so much and so regularly, it stops working properly. Refined sugar is also indigestible as it is. It needs the nutrients that were removed to properly digest.
So sugar is a 'bad' carb. It is because it is a refined sugar and so out of natural balance. It robs your body of all the minerals which were refined out for the sake of 'purity', leading to a nutrient deficiency in your body. (By the way, artificial sweeteners are worse, not better, than sugar.)
More people than not are overweight. They consume too many 'bad' carbs. Even when you feel you are avoiding sugar, are you really? The fact that the consumption of sugar over the past decades has exploded, tells a different story.
Raw honey, that is real honey from a local small producer rather then the often fake honey lining the shelves of your local supermarket, is a complete food and is a 'good' carb. To digest real, raw honey, your body does not need to rob any other nutrient from your body. It is complete in itself. It does not cause a nutrient deficiency or a spike in your blood sugar.
The same is true for natural fresh fruit. It is a complete food in itself. It will increase your nutrient levels, as well as give you energy without the spike in blood sugar or the low afterwards.
You need to know just what the other 'bad' carbs are as well as the 'good' carbs, because you can eat an abundance of the 'good' carbs and lose weight, whereas even a little of the 'bad' carbs and you start loading on the pounds.
You can discover all you need to know about the right carbs to keep you healthy and slim.
